NATIONWIDE & INTERNATIONALLY

CURED Consults

CURED Consultation clients nationwide and internationally frequently hire Dr. Rediger to help support them through the “four pillars” described in his book CURED, detailing the results of his 17 years of research into “health outliers” who experienced better than usual outcomes from illnesses deemed to be “incurable” or even “terminal.” Dr. Rediger offers extensive health and psychological coaching and consultation to help those dealing with the shock of a new diagnosis and who want to do more to take their health into their own hands. Psychiatric Consultations

As the medical director of McLean SE and Community Affairs at McLean Hospital and concurrently also the Chief of Behavioral Medicine at Good Samaritan Medical Center for many years, Dr. Rediger was frequently asked to consult with families and other psychiatrists to make treatment recommendations for challenging situations with patients who were not directly under his care. He is available to review medical records, speak to patients, treat psychiatrists and psychotherapists, and make mental health treatment recommendations for those who have ongoing psychiatric care elsewhere. These sessions are offered via a secure video platform.

IN CALIFORNIA & MASSACHUSETTS

One-On-One Psychiatric Care

Dr. Rediger is licensed as a physician and psychiatrist in California and Massachusetts and meets in person in the Bay Area of California or via video platform with Massachusetts patients. His trauma-informed, person-centered, non-pathologizing approach to psychiatric care focuses primarily on healing the traumas that underlie mental health issues, on addressing the impact of coercive control and narcissistic abuse on mental and physical health, as well as treating the root causes of mental and physical health symptoms. His Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed, “no bad parts” approach to dealing with the mental health conditions that are sometimes stigmatized by a poorly informed medical system has earned him international acclaim from patients and practitioners alike. While Dr. Rediger can and does use psychiatric medications when necessary, his view is that medications, in general, only treat symptoms. When possible, treating the underlying causes is better so that one doesn’t need to see psychiatrists or doctors for the rest of their lives.

He specializes in recovery from trauma and relationships involving coercive control.
